Elderflower French 75 Recipe

Step 1: Bring the garden to your cocktail with an Elderflower French 75.
Step 2: Bring your cocktail to the garden.

We recommend using a dry Champagne to balance St-Germain’s sweetness and a botanical gin like Hendricks to bring out the floral notes of the elderflower.

Elderflower French 75
makes 1 drink

shopping list —

  • 1 oz St-Germain

  • 1/2 oz Hendricks gin

  • 1/2 oz lemon juice

  • 3 oz Brut Champagne or Cava

equipment —

  • cocktail shaker

  • wine glass*

steps —

  1. Pour St. Germain, gin, and fresh lemon juice into a cocktail shaker. Add ice and shake vigorously until cold.

  2. Pour Champagne into your glass of choice.

  3. Strain the cocktail into the glass of Champagne.

  4. Garnish with a lemon twist.

*Flutes are traditional for a French 75, but I’m not a fan of staring at the ceiling to get the last sip.
